Research in the Diaz Lab

The Diaz Lab is interested in developing therapeutics for the treatment of brain tumors. We apply molecular and computational approaches to translational and basic science studies. Our core competencies include single-cell 'omics of clinical specimens and bioinformatics. We have the following ongoing projects:

  • Project HOPE: an atlas of cell types and cell states in pediatric glioma
  • Identifying targets for adoptive T-cell therapies
  • Targeting immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment
  • Optimizing treatment combinations to control residual disease
